Former Vice President Joe Biden claimed that “poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids,” while addressing the Asian and Latino Coalition in Des Moines, Iowa on Thursday.
“We should challenge these students, we should challenge students in these schools to have advanced placement programs in these schools,” the former vice president said when discussing the need to improve America’s education system. “We have this notion that somehow if you’re poor you cannot do it, poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.”

The left uses comments like this to stoke and encourage animosity between groups, and in particular, between whites and blacks. Biden’s message to poor blacks is that you should be angry because you’re just as smart and talented as those white doctors, engineers, builders and accountants over there. The only reason they’re wealthy and you’re not is because of an unfair racist system. Pimps like Biden like to keep the people angry with one another so elites like him can live off our misery. The day Biden has to answer for his manipulative evil can’t come soon enough.

Hard to believe the left likes to portray Biden as having some special connection and empathy for the white working class. It’s all optics and lies. My Mom, inquires what I am doing. Now, I don’t know what words specifically I used but, it was something along the lines of “copying that”
Before I hit kindergarten, I am writing in block and cursive, as well, reading the newspapers and doing multiplication and division.
Heck, I read “Lightfoot and the Deer” before I was in kindergarten.
Now, imagine if my Mom wasn’t so interested in what I was interested in?

Fwiw, I agree with President Kennedy that we should SEEK OUT & work to get POOR BUT GIFTED children into better schools & perhaps assure that they receive scholarships to college & grad school.
I was what was once called a “gifted underachiever” & especially after my father’s untimely passing, I could NOT find the bucks to even consider going to medical school. = I went to undergrad school, on a partial scholarship & by selling fresh fish.
Later, the Army paid for my grad school tuition, while I was on AD.
(I was frankly told by one admissions counselor, “There are only so many pieces that a pie can be cut into & there is just NO pie for poor Indians.” & “Go find something else to do with your life & just forget medical school”.)
Fwiw, I returned to AD, completed my military career & retired in 2006.
Imo, JFK was correct & those poor kids who are CAPABLE of doing GREAT THINGS, should have their education underwritten by the government. - He was also correct that after the students got settled into their career & started making $$$$$$, that their increased income tax paid would much more than pay for their education.
