He at least felt good enough to eat a little cold canned food this evening. I didn’t give him a large serving because I didn’t want to make him sick. But there was enough to cool him off inside and give him some nourishment.
A few minutes before the storms arrived we got the nice cool outflow blowing through and he cooled off enough to eat a little dry food. I don’t know where he went when the ran started but I haven’t seen him since. He’ll show up when he’s ready to eat again.

I just hope he’s not off wandering through the corn. It’s cool enough for the coyotes to be out on the hunt.

Your kitties are having a rough time, too, with the heat in TX. I reckon all the critters in the south are going to be happy when fall finally arrives. I think we’ve ALL had enough of summer. LOL

Mices are in the corn, so, so are the mice, and the coyotes.

deer and pheasants too.

We have no corn or maize this year, the winter wheat is in but the fields are fallow.

I hope he’s in the barn. That’s a place where he can find high places to be safe, isn’t it? I try to keep lots of clean cool water out for my hoard.

Is the corn getting all browned up? Bet it really rustles in the wind now.
