Long boring ass drive!It's Texas High School Football. I was assuming that they would charter a plane.
Plano has to do something to recruit. They are competing with Frisco with its indoor stadium and Allen and McKinney with massive new football palaces. Compared to the competition, Plano's stadiums are clearly second rate.

I played HS football in Texas. The school district chartered comfortable buses for games over 150 miles. Brownwood and El Paso were 3-400 mile trips. Odessa Permian had their own plane as did several other large schools. We were a 3A school before they made 5A schools.

No, the would not charter a flight. Bus charter .. yes.
And it’s not uncommon to play far away teams early in the season.
