How far down do you think this "shifting" took place.... somewhere in the mantle or the outer core?
If these continents "shifted", how did they know where to stop (maybe they used your chewing gum). On what "surface" did these wandering land masses settle?
To me these theories of continental shift are all as fanciful as Bill DiBlasio being President of the United States.
