Shareholder value is no longer the main focus of some of Americas top business leaders.
There are many areas in the US where conservatives have ceded control to liberals. The public school system is in the hands of the Left, and all conservatives have ever done about it is abet it with the home-schooling movement. Hollywood was also lost to the Left without a fight, and the same goes for mainstream news organizations.
But this doesn't have to happen with Big Business. These companies do not belong to their executives - they are the property of their shareholders. All it takes is some active shareholders to redirect the priorities of "America's top business leaders". If they do not prioritize shareholder value, they can and should be removed.

Sounds good and maybe true at one time. Big Business and Big government go hand in hand.
Our govt used to belong to us also..........................
I am a much bigger proponent of small business. Trumps tax plan does encourage this. Unfortunately there is still too much regulation..........................

Hollywood has always been left. There are a few exceptions, but not many.
