I used to have a Taylor Swift channel on Pandora and links to her stuff on Amazon Prime Music. I really like the arrangements, though she is a “pedestrian” vocalist.
When she got political I deleted the channels and did a thumbs down every time one of her songs came up. I don’t see them any more.
In this world, this sort of stuff is tracked so it actually matters. I don’t have a huge voice, but I have more of a voice than I would have had 30 years ago.
You make a good point. If only those in the conservative fold organized in mass it could make a big difference to neutralize the typically leftist opinionated views of the celebrity class.
I’m tolerant of various political views of the masses, but not of celebrities or businesses that spew opinions to sway others and especially counter to my own. They need push back just to keep their opinions and mouth shut.
