Judge has to be older than dirt.
He was born in Sept. of 1925 so by my math he’s a few weeks short of his 94th birthday. I guess when you get a lifetime gig, it really does mean a lifetime. One man gets to overrule the overwhelming majority of the General Assembly of the State of Missouri as well as its Governor.

I rode the elevator up to the 7th floor of the KC federal courthouse with him a couple of years ago when I had a hearing there. He had a briefcase that had to have been from the early 50’s. He still handles a lot of cases over there.
