I know it is against tradition but the headline in this case is quite deceitful. Exactly. People need to read the article and understand it. There's nothing wrong with this policy. It's no different than if a citizen living in the USA adopted a child from another country. There would need to be some hoops to jump through before that adopted child could be a US citizen. If someone had a child before becoming naturalized then that child would not automatically be a citizen unless the other parent was. It's all just common sense.
