Several years ago when my son played high school football the game was a home game against a rival high school team from an urban area outside of the district for the run up to the championship. The parents during the game and after their loss were absolutley despicable, cursing, shouting, threatening players coming off the field as well as the parents and families that were the victors. This is what these parents show their children, this is perfectly acceptable behavior for them and this is why their children follow through
