Nicholas Soames, the grandson of Britain’s World War Two leader Winston Churchill, will be expelled from the Conservative Party after voting against Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Brexit.
The move against the Conservative Party grandee marks one of the most bizarre turns in the three-year Brexit crisis that has gripped a country once touted as a confident pillar of Western economic and political stability.
Soames was one of 21 Conservative lawmakers who rebelled, including Ken Clarke, 79, the longest continuously sitting British lawmaker in the House of Commons, and former finance minister Philip Hammond. All are to be expelled.

Soames is a disappointment. He badly criticized Nigel Farage a few years back. I’m glad they got rid of him. The CINO’s need to GTFO out the Conservative Party if they want to be lieberals/leftists.
Boris needs to take up Farage’s offer of support from the Brexit party.
1. Boris needs to get 2/3rd of the house of commons to agree for a snap elections - as per hte fixed term parliamentary act (put in place by Cameron, the Conservative PM in 2011), the PM cannot call for snap elections without 67% of the house supporting him
2. Leave (Soft, hard, whatever) got 37% of the electorate’s vote in the 2016 referendum. The majority of those did not want or expect HARD brexit. What the people want today is anyone’s guess
The Brexit issue is not a question of liberals or conservative - just because the leading party calls itself Conservative doesn’t mean it is in any way conservative.
The “Conservative” party implemented Gay marriage, implemeted abortion etc. - and one of the few Conservative MPs who did NOT vote to legalize gay marriage - he just yesterday joined the LibDems
the Tory party is no more conservative than the Democrats in the USA

Only the Tories or Brexit Parties will deliver Brexit.
