I question that, because one side wants to fundamentally transform this country, in many ways. To listen to them talk, they seem to hate this country as it is.
He is right. Your typical Americans, of all sides, naturally love the USA. The leftists who espouse hating it have to work very hard to convince others. They Have to lie against all evidence to the contrary that this is a horrible country. And you have to be loosely ignorant and probably liberal in outlook to believe it.
I do believe the country can handle differing ideas on how to self govern. Only the leftists and extreme rightists believe there is only one way and the others don’t belong.
