Thanks for posting good, quick read. Forgot about some of the players.
I joined the forum a week after this story broke......Have been here ever since.
____________
Is she no longer with us?
Great, great days.
This time around, they tried to use the Steele Dossierea whole collection of fakeryto bring down Trump. Something no one could look at. It was all bogus FISA warrants and the media lapping up and regurgitating whatever the DOJ cabal leaked to them. Mere firing was too good for that bunch.
His own words doomed him: Fake. But accurate.
That is a funny DU post. I see that no one over there was in any hurryat allto uncover the shenanigans of their friends in the media. They still arent, with the quackery exhibited in the Steele Dossiere and the glee that media repeats what the fraudsters tell them.
I too remember that post in real time. I was not watching the broadcast but on FR reading about it. When Buckhead posted his info I was dumbstruck - how could they be so stupid?
And the rest is history.
“Did we ever learn the identity of Buckhead? Does he still post? When was his last post?”

I had a sore loser man t-shirtnwith the arching teardrop.
Wore it to the Tampa airport to board a flight.
The black gal running security, back when a “random second screening” would take place, grabbed me out of line for the. extra search.
We were all lined up after the metal detector and I watched eyes as she scanned down the line, got to me, her eyes dropped to my tshirt, went back up to my face, and she pointed her index finger at me them to the side as she selected me based upon my Sore Loserman tshirt she hated.
You're right... any ideas on why the press deteriorated so quickly?
I was here, remember it well.
Long Live Buckhead, wherever you are...
Was it Buckhead, I seem to recall it was a name kind of like “christian” or something that can be (and was) confused with a females name.
Don’t know if accurate:
“The initial analysis appeared in posts by ‘Buckhead’, a username of Harry W. MacDougald, an Atlanta attorney who had worked for conservative groups such as the Federalist Society and the Southeastern Legal Foundation, and who had helped draft the petition to the Arkansas Supreme Court for the disbarment of President Bill Clinton.[57][58]

That is correct. Buckhead and TackerKC were “outed” by the media.
The media will do research, on occasion.
Real names at the link.
No, there were plenty then and well before Rather. He was just stupid enough to get caught.
