"Booming Texas Economy May Usher in a Democratic Win in 2020.."

How ironic.. Sometimes things just don't make sense...

IMHO the entire country goes blue sometime between 2028 and 2035, and never looks back. All due to shifting demographics. Young people have completely consumed the Kool-Aid and newly naturalized citizens vote 80+% Dem.

They’re just waiting for enough of us to die.

The GOPe is gone. The Republican Party is gone. They, as was the Communist Party have been adsorbed by the Democrat Party.

The sad, bad, terrible thing is a certain portion of those in the US believe WE are the root of all evil and need, deserve, require a comeuppance.
The size of that portion and their enthusiasm electorally are going to play a large role in whether the republic survives and what it will look like.
I am very afraid what happens after the Trump presidency ends.
The silent majority, if it still exists cannot much longer remain silent.
I hope i am wrong but as the saying goes demographics cannot be stopped.

The Republicans have been incorporated into the Socialists/ CommunistdemocRAT enemy. Or they have been absorbed by the Socialist/CommunistdemoRAT enemy. Whichever terminology you prefer.

Yes that will likely be the future.

There is no fight back from Conservatives and Republicans. If there were Hollywood would be bankrupt, Comcast would be bankrupt, Dick’s Sporting Goods and every left-wing “business” would be shunned.

“Oh WE don’t do that!”

That’s the problem. We don’t do that.

Long past time to Put Up or Shut Up. We need “guerilla and asymmetrical” efforts targeting all things Democrat and Left-Wing. We need to STOP ceding ground NOW.

The #1 most urgent thing we must do in order to head-off a dystopian socialist future is find SOME WAY to reach young people and talk some sense to them.

Not gonna be easy. Most of them today are only reachable by social media. Hence the full-court press to evict Conservative thought from social media.

Why would people who flee liberal enclaves, vote for more liberals in their new state? It does not seem logical, but then when are liberals logical?

I have a friend whose son and family moved from Minnesota to Texas. They are NOT voting for liberals - they are conservative voters.

You’ve got several types of people who make these moves.

1) Conservatives who are sick of living in a Liberal state (your friend’s son).

2) Liberals who are fleeing high taxes but have never made the connection between that and the policies they support.

3) People who follow their job to a new state when their employer decides its had enough of Liberalism (thus Rick Perry takes a lot of flak for luring people like Toyota and State Farm to the Dallas area).

4) Liberals who deliberately move to a Conservative state with a mission to turn it blue.

Three of those are people you don’t want in your Conservative state.

Someday, maybe, Texas will turn Blue. It won’t be in 2020.

*************

Possible. People don’t know the history of the state and that
it only came into the GOP fold not that many years ago.

“It’s not the economy so much as the influx of transplanted Californians and New Yorkers. It’s like cancer. They infect the host and spread like the pernicious virus they are.

It’s happening everywhere.”

A couple of things:

1) I moved to TX from NJ about 19 years ago. With my (legal) Mexican citizen wife. Well, now she’s a citizen, and proudly voted for Trump, and will do so again. Oh, and as a bonus, she (like me) is Jewish - so the Dems went 0-for-3 with her (Jewish, Latina, woman). Our daughter just turned 18, and will be voting for Trump. Our son is pissed as Hell that he won’t be old enough to vote next year, but he would also vote for Trump (he wore a MAGA hat every chance he got when we visited NYC last summer).

2) I tend to agree with your assessment: when the Leftist Locusts finish stripping their home territory of all life, they then migrant to fresh feeding grounds and proceed to destroy them. I saw it happen in NJ, which used to be pretty solidly Republican. HOWEVER, if all of the Leftist Locusts are moving out of their home states and into more conservative ones in numbers sufficient to tip the scales, then what happens in their old states? Its not like the Locusts are actually reproducing (they abort far more often than us, and have never liked the idea of large families - at least not for whites).

It's the same response you get when you remind them of the success of Venezuela (or any other socialist "paradise"): "Oh, they just didn't do socialism right, that's all."

The most unfortunate thing is those who transplant and believe they are conservative. Northeast conservatism is not conservative -- it's left-of-center liberal, just not FAR left of center. They really believe they are on the right, but when it comes time to vote for services and infrastructure, they would rather turn their new pastoral communities into urban, lit-up, over-social-engineered cities -- more like the ones they left.

They moved, but their voting habits moved with them...

North Va is controlled by the DC suburbs and government workers. That has nothing to do with Texas prosperity. Texas isn’t going Blue in 2020.
