I liked John Bolton and never considered him a neo-con. He was just a warhawk in the tradition of the ww2 generation. Just because you believe in slapping people back doesn’t make you a neo-con. Neo-cons are liberals in areas other than national security.

I think Bolton crossed the line from presenting his boss his point of view over into strong advocacy and manipulation to get his way. Even after Trump made a decision.

Tell the commander your viewpoint, but after a decision is made help him implement it

Forget about Mitt Romney. Samantha Power has come out and publicly criticized the firing of Bolton. This woman is a f#%&ing communist.
