This photo is called The Falling Man. It's considered controversial now , to publish pictures that are hard to see. The photographer who captured it saw the humans who were driven to a disastrous choice, and validated their lives by documenting it. We owe it to them to be strong enough not to look away. We owe it to them, to see that those who come after remember, too .
