I have gotten some kind of cost of living adjustment of ss every year.

I remember getting zip zilch nada under obama a couple of years 2010 and 2015. The obama admin cola calculations seemed to lean to quite lean cola.

Not surprised, but it was not Obama. If the inflation factors they use for the SS cola were small those years, so was the ss increase if any, and what increase there was could have been canceled out by a medicare premium increase.

Health care costs HAVE been increasing more than general COLA inflation. But the former feeds into medicare premiums while it is the later that determines the SS cola. SS and the medicare premium are not adjusted by the same factors.
