RE: Yup... And Beto won there... Oops!

I won’t take Beto’s defeat in 2018 as a joke. HE LOST BY A SLIM MARGIN, against for me, one of the best Senators in the nation.

We might not be so fortunate the next time.

This tells me that Texas is changing... for the WORSE.

Yes, Ted is one of the best. But he was sailing into tremendous headwinds in 2018.

First, many did NOT forgive and forget his antics at the convention.

Second, 2018 was a typical mid-term for the party in power. Every Republican had a hard time.

Third, Beto was a new and shiny toy that the voters of Texas just didn’t know yet. Run that election again today, after what Beto has said and done in his Presidential campaign and I have a hunch he ain’t coming close to winning.

N.C. 9 was a huge indicator for me as to where current voter enthusiasm lies. I also don’t think the people of Texas are going to take kindly to impeachment.

Maybe that close margin in the Texas Senate race was because of Cruz and not Texas.

Plus, November 2018 was a blue wave in many areas of the country for whatever reason....Fake Mueller investigation that many low info voters believed, the media hammering Trump with lies 24/7, whatever.

Ted barely even campaigned. He didn’t come north at all.
