But...I thought we are now “energy independent”??? Why should our gas prices be affected by a change in Saudi capacity?

Yeah, I should have filled up last night. Got just under 3/4 of a tank. Maybe only slightly more than half (that needle bounces around LOL).

I’m glad I filled my tank yesterday, 83 buck.
3.37 a gallon, pretty high but CA has the highest taxes on gas plus sales tax and fed gas tax.
Yep it will go up even though we produce enough gas to take care of our own needs.
So it doesn’t make sense for the price to go up in the USA.
