How does a government lawyer who is paid a set salary, typically lower than the private sector, and who cannot take bonuses benefit from this case?

“government lawyer who is paid a set salary”

Well ask Comey, these government lawyers seem to get money other ways. Anyway, they can make a name for themselves and get a belter job or use experience to go into the private sector. It’s so sad that there will be less litigation.

You might want to ask why people like Pelosi and Feinstein got rich after going into politics too. It’s about gaining connections.

But we need to support government lawyers. After all, unlike manufacturing, government lawyers are the backbone of our economy. They attract business to this country and encourage start ups because everyone loves regulation and likes to be sued. And if you’re lucky, you might even get a tax payer funded residence for life.
