One of the two New York Times reporters behind the much-maligned article detailing a new accusation of sexual misconduct against Brett Kavanaugh acknowledged that she knew the Supreme Court justice in college.
Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly adapted a story from their upcoming book for an article in the New York Times about Kavanaugh. The piece, which was published on Saturday, alleged that one of Kavanaugh's classmates at Yale University said he made inappropriate sexual contact with a female student. However, the article failed to mention that the female student who was the alleged victim has no recollection of the supposed event and declined to be interviewed.
Pogrebin appeared on WMAL's "Mornings on the Mall" to discuss the omitted details Tuesday morning, and she acknowledged that she and Kavanaugh were both in Yale University's class of 1987.
"I was in Brett's class at Yale," she admitted. "It didn't influence it. We weren't friends. I knew him to kind of say hello."

She was contacted by the DNC as she knew women who have might have met Brett.
She has been in on this conspiracy since the beginning.
Knowing Kavanaugh in college does not give this F-dog cover for telling lies.

Scandalous is being generous. First the victim was drunk and doesn’t remember being “assaulted” at all, then the 7 witnesses turn out to be biased 2nd and 3rd hand accounts at best, now the co-author was present at Yale, and a classmate of Brett? And all of this omitted in the NYT story? What other shoes will drop? The NYT is losing serious credibility here. Not that they had any with me, but they were believed by many...
My brother and I were in the same dorm one year, and we saw each other approximately twice.
He was in college and I was in a dorm high school program.
People don’t connect or know squat simply because they are in the same dorm.
This means nothing.
