Several Democrats running for their party’s nomination in 2020 are backing a policy of easing school discipline, arguing that they want to stop a “school-to-prison pipeline” that hurts minority students.
But according to Andrew Pollack (no relation), whose daughter, Meadow, was among the victims in the Parkland school shooting last February, those policies allow potentially dangerous people to keep a clean record, letting them pass firearm background checks.

I guess they think they are better off dead.
Poor kids shouldn’t have guns.
Off topic, however, the only Gun Control policy that has a chance of working is to take away the right for Democrats to own Guns.
They are the mass shooters.
Take away those rights and enforce that policy, and immediately, these mass shootings will go down by at least 90%.
It would certainly be better for society, for the school, for the classmates, and for his potential victims. It would even be better for the poor prison-bound individual, because his crimes would be kept small. Once he goes and shoots up a bunch of people, you have no choice but to throw away the key. But if he winds up incarcerated for whatever penny-ante trouble he can get to while his is under constant supervision, he will not have to be incarcerated for life.
But liberals deal in emotions (feel) vs. conservatives that deal in facts (think). They say ‘oh the poor dear, give the kid a break’
I can always tel a lib when they will say in normal conversation. the use feel instead of think. Like..
“I think the right answer is A” versus “I feel the right answer is A
Close down the “school-to-prison pipeline”, open the “school-to-grave pipeline”.
I’ve heard Andrew Pollack on Breitbart a couple of times and I really feel terrible for him. I hope his every thought isn’t focused on the tragedy. If so, he really needs some help or he’s going to come to a sad end.
I don’t know why the dems are upset. Just think of it as an after birth abortion.
I would like to see a return to the time when they taught gun safety and marksmanship in the 8th grade. I remember getting a paper route in the 7th grade to earn the money for a .22 rifle that I would need in the 8th grade to sign up for the rile classes.

This was the policy as explained in news accounts shortly after the shooting at Parkland. It was an Obama policy, and we all know how it worked out.
Interesting this was news shortly after the Parkland shooting, but then disappeared from headline news. Hopefully it will be brought back again as it has much to do with the whole event.
If the right answer actually is A, the conservative says "I think the right answer is A" and the lib says, "I feel the right answer is Q".
