The Whistleblower May Not Be A Whistleblower At All

The latest media mass hysteria over a whistleblower’s complaint is based on precious little information. That has not stopped journalists from convicting President Trump in the court of public opinion and predicting his imminent demise.

Who exactly is this unidentified “whistleblower”? What is the specific nature of his or her “urgent concern” complaint against the president? Does this complaint really qualify under the Intelligence Community Whistleblower Protection Act (ICWPA)? These are just a few of the most fundamental questions that remain largely unknown.

Despite the paucity of facts, some reasonable observations and conclusions can be drawn:

1. It appears that an American spy in one of our intelligence agencies was spying on our own president. The complaint suggests that this intel agent was secretly listening in on Trump’s conversation with a foreign leader.

No I would do as they do in the UK I would put special courts in charge of it.

It works very well for the British.

They do not have professional liars on their TV’s every night.

First there was supposedly a Russian spy working for the FBI who supposedly could corroborate much of the Steele Dossier. Convenient that... you can alledge all kinds of things if you never have to produce the spy to testify.

Now we have a “Whistleblower” who is probably also conveniently anonymous.

[Drudge was compromised a long time ago, I doubt he has a choice.]

A simpler explanation? Drudge was never a conservative. He saw a void (of conservative viewpoints on the web) and filled it. Now that Breitbart, the Daily Caller and other conservative media exist, he sees a new niche as a purveyor of headlines for libertines who want low taxes, i.e. RINO never-Trumpers.

Haven’t used Drudge in over a year. Alternative conservative sites are available: Conservative Angle and Lucianne News Forum.

Not a Whistle-blower IMHO.

Just a sorry government employee afflicted with T.D.S. who broke her (his?) oath of office, the conditions of her employment, rules of confidentiality and violated the trust placed in her in a sad attempt to screw the President.

Liberty Daily is a great drudge alternative.

Have you accepted their new way to support the page? They have been messing around with their design. Apparently they have found new ways around add blocker plus. For one they have been embedding adds in the page looking like news stories as well.

They ask to please turn off add blocker one day then next time I log on that flag is gone and popups are everywhere even though I haven white lists their site.

If they put up a reasonable amount of adds that didn't require 40 mouse clicks to find ou they never answer the claim they claim, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. Drudge doesn't seem to mind I block the adds, maybe because I only go there to read the headlines. He has of course taken a decidedly left turn, since Trump.

They also do not have a First Amendment.

Government censorship occurs regularly.

Explain to me how that is not sedition and a hanging offense!?

I like these two paragraphs from the link”

3. Article II of the Constitution gives the president sweeping power to conduct foreign affairs, negotiate with leaders of other nations, make demands or offer promises. The Constitution does not grant the power of review, approval or disapproval to spies or other unelected officials in the executive branch.

4. The ICWPA law defines the parameters of an “urgent concern” complaint as an abuse or violation of law “relating to the funding, administration, or operations of an intelligence activity involving classified information, but does not include differences of opinions concerning public policy matters.” The president’s conversation with a foreign leader does not seem to fall under this whistleblower definition.

“”Excellent piece by Jarrett and he’s 100% right.””

I think Jarrett is the most knowledgeable and smartest attorney we’ll ever hear - other than Sidney Powell... I would trust his take on things every time over anyone else. He’s a brilliant man who has “hidden his light under a bushel” all his career, I think!

You are joking right? Drudge is anti-Trump 24/7. He has been that way for almost 2 years. He also constantly trades in crisis and apocalyptic garbage non-stop.

It was hard after all these years, but I finally stopped going to his site. The main reason I stopped was because many of his sensationalized headlines didn’t actually match the story, or worse were sometimes the opposite of the actual details in the story.

I don’t see how Dem’s making an issue of this doesn’t backfire on Biden

That may very well be the strategy.

no one or party or TV personality should be allowed to slander or libel anyone without consequences.

Slowly these cases are going to be seen in our courts, and they really need to be.

Pure conjecture...but I do not believe that dems think Biden has any chance of defeating Trump. My guess is their "dream team" is Warren-Booger, er, Booker.

This “whistleblower” should legally not be allowed to disclose any details about a presidential conversationto anyone and should be put in jail for doing so.
