Does anyone wonder why the VA is so $krewed up? I mean, Amir Farooqi - to be named Acting Director of Central Alabama Veterans Health Care Services (CAVHCS). Thanks Uncle Sam! We called it "The Green Weenie"!
The VA has been screwed up for decades though.
I’m in an excellent VA system (W Tenn.).
It breaks my heart to hear of some areas.

The Gainesville facility here in north central Florida provides the best comprehensive medical care my wife or I have ever received, either in military facilities or in the private sector.
And we both have backgrounds in the medical field. It is simply the best.

Salt Lake City VA does well.
Better in some areas than the local hospitals,, a little less in others. With better follow up care.

Why is the VA hell bent on hiring anyone but veterans to peovide care. Ridiculous. My “doc” wears a hajib.
