While the liberal broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) were busy fawning over the bitter ranting of radical climate teen Greta Thunberg at the United Nations on Monday, they completely ignored her cohorts in Washington, D.C. staging an illegal protest to shut down the city’s major traffic arteries, resulting in an all-day traffic nightmare in the nation’s capital.
“The President's critics say he does not take the threat of climate change seriously enough if at all. So, environmental activists decided to draw attention to the issue by shutting down, and I mean completely shutting down traffic here in the nation's capital,” Fox News anchor Bret Baier said during Special Report with a hint of frustration in his tone.
Correspondent Ellison Barber took over from there and shared what she saw while on scene at the illegal protest. “Hundreds of climate activists shut down at least four major intersections in Washington, D.C., disrupting the morning commute for thousands. Some chained themselves to ladders, others used metal pipes and wires to lock onto a painted sailboat a few blocks away from the White House,” she reported.
Perhaps the networks ignored the climate extremists because their “key demand,” as Barber reported, was the same radical Green New Deal proposal the media promoted. There was also the fact that “critics said the protest itself is problematic, installing traffic only causes more pollution” because of the thousands upon thousands of idling cars stuck on the roads.

The liberal broadcast networks rail against government shutdowns but don’t see fit to cover climate extremists attempts to shut down DC. Rank hypocrisy.
The same networks who champion the environmental movement and lecture us about clean air are also OK with increased pollution stemming from needlessly idling vehicles due to blocked traffic.
How much trash did they leave behind? Saw some pics from manhattan from last Friday. Pigs would be a compliment.
I’m still anxiously awaiting Greta Thunberg’s adolescent scolding of the Communist Chinese in Beijing. Exploited naive children always make the best props.

One group walking down Independence Ave on the sidewalk near the Capitol had maybe 30-40 people. Videos I saw on the Interwebs of other locations had fewer protestors.
I was an hour late for work. I noticed.

So she was the one with the voice that would curdle milk! They didn’t show her name on the screen but her voice was terrible. Where does FOX find the most irritating females with screechy, grating voices to put on their payroll? The executives in charge need to be locked up in a room for 24 hours - no way to escape - with all of them - Parino, Turlov, Barber and some others. See what they have foisted on the public. Any show with them on goes off immediately in our house. One of the best females on FOX is Harris Faulkner - a beauty and a great voice - not a “grate” voice.
