Collectivists should not exist.
Not a new idea at all in the Democrat Party.
What do you think the reasoning was behind FDR’s 93% top income tax bracket?
All the sarcasm aside in the various posts here, that a top-tier Democrat candidate can say this without any fear of repudiation, tells me that things are getting dangerous.
Elizabeth Warren is just the same. So is Joe Biden, but he is not going to make the finals.
It is never been more clear in the history of this country, since the Constitution was ratified, that a properly armed citizenry is absolutely essential to our survival.
40% of our population has gone completely socialist, another 20% is so wishy-washy they couldn’t find their butts from a hole in the ground. If the Socialists takeover that 20% will go right along with them.
How about we eliminate any husband and wife team who single-handedly beg donors to invest millions to expand a college, award huge contracts to their contractor friends, and drive a Vermont college into irretrievable backruptcy.
Those people should “not exist”. Bernie is an absolute fraud, Marxist hippie, and Green Mountain skunk.
Eat the rich!
As I’ve said before, Bernie knows he will be aced out. His task is to normalize the hard left Dem candidates by saying more and more outrageous things. He’s opening wider the so-called Overton window, to the left.
Initially, I thought the “Overton window” was a doofus concept. In its place I tended to substitute the “Magnischlursky Dryer Vent”, which states, in essence, that if you pack your brain with lint, you’re gonna look pretty stupid.
Crazy Uncle Bernie needs to be taken seriously.
As of Sept. 08 polling he is in second place ahead of Warren.
If Biden drops out, Bernie will be in the lead and collect the largest block of Creepy Uncle Joe voters.
He is also the most popular “second choice” of Fauxcahontas voters.
Of course, the perfect socialist solution. The government will decide how much wealth and power are “enough” for anyone and everyone. Because determining someone’s lot in life is the ultimate power, and the socialist wants that for himself/ herself.
Hey Bernie: Start with George Soros. Make an example of him and do it personally. I’ll watch your funeral.
Welcome to the Flash Dunce Credit Card, brought to you by the social justice economic policies and demagogic genius of your heroes: Crazy Bernie and America's Outrageous Con-Artist (AOC).
Modeled after the impressive economic success of nations like Venezuela, Cuba, the Soviet Union, and various Banana Republics, the Card is guaranteed to destroy the American Capitalist system.
It will give everyone free access to the idle trillions of dollars sitting in banks that today are owned by employers earning evil profits, investors guilty of usury, fat-cat millionaires driving Teslas, and selfish Skin-in-the-Game entrepreneurs who are take on financial risks in the hope of benefiting themselves.
How does the Card work? Simple. Use the Card to buy all the free stuff you can't afford. Then pay back only what you want to pay, when you want to pay it -- deducting any Rip-Off interest charges you feel entitled not to pay as a Victim of the American Capitalist System.
Disclaimer: This offer is subject to one restriction: you may use the card only before the entire American economy collapses.

‘Billionaires should not exist’ - and yet they do.
Billionaires are a fact of life. Some people just collect more nickels every time they pass “Go” than others, and once having acquired them, invest them much more shrewdly.
Money makes money, and that compounded interest is what provides the means to support all kinds of NON-interest bearing expenditures. Even total wastes of money.
But only until the original return on investment runs out, and the seed corn gets eaten.
Under socialism, the Leaders become de-facto Billionaires, with all of the commensurate power to go along with it.
Socialists should not exist.
I hope Trump meant what he said about Socialism in America.
To ‘Bernie’:
What exactly is ‘wealth’ Bernie? The Earth is the same Earth it's always been, with the same resources. What's different today, as opposed to 1000 years ago, or 500, or 100, or even 25, is how those resources have been developed to increase the standard of living around the globe.
That development of resources didn't just ‘happen’. It took the efforts of lots of industrious hard-working human beings, AND the creativity, ambition, and vision of human beings. Unless you decide to steal intellectual property (i.e. the creativity and vision of others) to fuel the advancement of your particular society/nation - like Communist China has, the advancement of any society depends upon the creativity and efforts of it's people.
In order to fully unleash that creativity and effort, there has to be a reward system in place, with ‘earned credit’. No one wants to work for free - clearly not even you. As a society, you have to allow people to prosper and benefit from their own efforts and unique creative talents. There has to be a reason for creative visionary people to put in the extra effort. Failing to allow people to prosper and distinguish themselves from the rest of society has been done before - and it didn't work. That's why every ridiculous ‘5-year plan’ of the old USSR failed. It will always fail, whenever and wherever it is tried.
You, Bernie, are making the effort to run for the Presidency NOT because you are altruistic, but because you are driven by your desire for power and recognition - the same power and recognition you would deny non-politicians who seek to achieve in life via their own ideas, drive, and efforts.
In the story of the ‘Three Little Pigs’, it is the industrious hard working little pig who toiled and built his house out of stone that is the one who is honored for his efforts. You would support outright confiscation of the fruits of that little pig's labor, and mandatory redistribution to those who were less industrious. That's not just a formula for eventual societal collapse, but it is also immoral.
Bernie is typical socialist who learned economics by reading Scrooge McDuck comics.
They believe wealthy people keep their money in a vault in the basement so they can play in it all the time.
When you say “billionaire” or even “millionaire” you are not talking about cash money, but you are talking assets.
Their money is tied up in stocks and bonds, and in physical property. No you don’t need to feel sorry for them since they are getting a good return on their investment, while at the same time creating jobs for others.
Without wealthy people willing to invest (or just spend) your economy will go the way of the old soviet union.
Bernie’ll change his mind once he’s made his first billion.
This is why should things get ugly there should be no quarter for the reds.
I like the idea that these wealthy Rats are willing to tax the hell out of these billionairs. But you can guarantee theyre going to shield or hide their own money.
You are absolutely correct.
For the first time since the early 20th. Century there is a robust and growing support base for socialism in this country.
Bernie and Lieawatha would have been considered fringe kook candidates as recently as a decade ago. Now they are the face of that party. And if either were more pleasant/less cranky they might very well be able to sell those ideas to a 51% majority.
A sobering cause for concern indeed.
