President Trump will hold a campaign rally in Dallas next month seeking to solidify support in Texas as several Republican members of the state's congressional delegation retire.
The Trump campaign announced Monday that Trump will hold an Oct. 17 rally at the American Airlines Center, home to the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars.
The event will come one week after Trump's scheduled rally in Minneapolis, where he is attempting to flip the state after narrowly losing it in 2016.
Rep. Mac Thornberry (Texas), the top Republican on the House Armed Services Committee, announced earlier Monday that he will not seek reelection. In doing so, he became the sixth Texas Republican to retire from Congress this year.

Hope that this rally isn’t a sign that Trump’s team believes Texas is in jeopardy next year.
Perhaps, they feel some extra attention needs to be paid to The Lone Star State because of the many GOP congressional retirements.

I am very concerned about the many “retirements”. I am thinking that someone is making it very lucrative to retire thus opening up a district. This will be followed by a lot of outside money backing the Democrat candidate.
The influx of Californians is going to be big impact in the Central Texas area as their cloud spreads outward from Austin. I strongly believe that our district will go Blue. I don’t give a damn one for our pet RINO, John Carter but even he is better than a carpet bagging California import...

May God watch over you and His Angels protect you and your entourage during your Dallas visit. With the CIA and FBI involved in overtaking our government, this would be the location which will be very familiar to them. And yes, lightening does strike in one place more than once.

BTW, I’m in the hopelessly blue state of Maryland, which has eight CDs—and I happen to have the ONLY GOP Congressman (Dr. Andy Harris).
Praying that Governor Abbott, Lt. Gov. Patrick, AG Paxton, and Senators Cornyn and Cruz will be able to marshal enough votes to deliver the state for PDJT’s reelection.
Cornyn needs a little help from POTUS for his own reelection bid—and then there’s ole Ted, who’d better behave himself this time around.
It is a legitimate concern... Texas and Florida are in the Dem's sights. Here in Central Florida there has been a huge influx of hurricane victims from Puerto Rico and the Bahamas. My congressional district was redrawn not so long ago; I wrote my (Dem) congressperson this week to point out that she does not represent me, has never sent me any mail surveying my views, took an oath to uphold the Constitution but has substituted her own agenda - which agenda is to overthrow a duly legal election and remove from office the president that I voted for... to institute a new system of justice wherein a citizen declared guilty by her and her party must somehow prove themselves innocent over impossible odds, where any opposition will be punished by authoritative govt action.
Well, that's the gist of it. Lately I find myself pretty much unrepresented and even those I voted for are more interested in their own pursuits than my views on affairs. sigh
He taunts the Bureaus of CIA, FBI.
He plays for all the marbles.
God help him and US.
