Abortions are down. That is great news. The reason they are down doesn’t matter yet this piece seems to think it does.

Either you believe in the sanctity of life or you do not. If wearing a condom or taking birth control pills prevents conception and the need for abortion that is all that matters.

The point of the article is that Guttmacher tries to deny the prolife movement any credit for the abortion decline, discounting its effectiveness.

BTW how do you define “the need for abortion?”
