House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., sent a letter on Thursday to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., calling on her to suspend the impeachment inquiry into President Trump until “equitable rules and procedures” are set up.
Coming amid concerns by GOP lawmakers that they will be sidelined or shut out of the impeachment inquiry into Trump, McCarthy criticized Pelosi for the “swiftness and recklessness” which House committee chairs have proceeded with the impeachment inquiry and pleaded with the House Speaker to ensure Republican participation in the proceedings.

She’s already indicated today that she doesn’t want it to go to formal proceedings, because she’s scared that Trump and others will be able to present and compel evidence, so McCarthy shouldn’t give her an out.

Easy fix. Just call AOC and offer the Kook Caucus a vote. Join your caucus with them and move it to the floor. Then watch the fun and chaos unfold as the rest of Pelosi’s caucus scrambles like headless chickens looking for cover.

There is no end to Republican weakness.
Moose and squirrel won't get out of this one.
BUT.....if I were representing Trump for the trial, I'd 'leak' a list of potential witnesses for the defense. Since I can call ANYONE, I would start with Hillary, then Obama, Brennan, McCabe, Schiff, Comey and ALL the ones who might be involved in this railroading.
There are unintended consequences the Dims are not looking at, and this will be a total disaster for them at the primaries and the election.
