Contract with America, a document signed Sept. 27, 1994, on the Capitol steps in Washington, D.C., by members of the Republican minority before the Republican Party gained control of Congress in 1994. The “Contract with America” outlined legislation to be enacted by the House of Representatives within the first 100 days of the 104th Congress (1995–96). Among the proposals were tax cuts, a permanent line-item veto, measures to reduce crime and provide middle-class tax relief, and constitutional amendments requiring term limits and a balanced budget. With the exception of the constitutional amendment for term limits, all parts of the “Contract with America” were passed by the House, under the leadership of the speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich.

Dear Fellow Free Republic Friends;

I am convinced now, more than ever, that if the conservatives in Congress offer A Contract With America Version-2020 they will "sweep" and I mean "sweep" both houses and the presidency. In fact, I'm betting 48 to 50 states for Trump.

Please, at every opportunity, get this message out to your republican congressional officials. Tell them to adopt the 2020 Version of Contract With American!!!

For those of you here, who do not remember this momentous time in our history, I offer this excellent article.

The biggest problem, as I see it, is not having a Newt in Congress to carry the ball.

However, the difference is we have a strong leader at the top who will set the promises set forth in the Contract With America.

AND EVERYONE WILL KNOW TRUMP WILL MAKE GOOD ON THIS PROMISE, BECAUSE HE'S ALREADY DONE THAT FOR US!!!!!!!!!

Current POTUS is a man of contracts so now would be a good time. Rats can counter with theirs-they have none. 5-7 items would be about right, not 10. How about a contract wit black/millenial America?

2020 is in the bag. 2024 might be better. The pendulum tends to swing. This would be better than what we got in 88’.

The Constitution is Congress's contract with America.

Patriots need to elect a new patriot Congress in 2020 that will not only promise to fully support PDJT’s vision for MAGA, now KAG, but will also promise work within Congress's constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.

I agree, and it will be a great first 100 days.
