They called the race for Newsom even though Cox was winning - in fact there's a graphic showing Cox ahead and the media had a check-mark for Newsom as the winner. I know because I was the one who posted it that night.

But you're right. There's a lot of cognitive dissonance on the part of liberals in CA. They cannot comprehend that their policies are leading CA to ruins.

That was just the vote tabulation at the time on election night. All the votes were in and when they were tallied, Newsom won easily.
