A relief but a bit drastic. It’s nice to slowly work down to those temps. LOL

You really lucked out on those shirts! They make a great light jacket if you don’t want to wear them as a shirt. I have a few left from the purge I did in my closets. LOL

If you haven’t napped already, I’m surprised. LOL
That’s a comfy chair - the kind that when you sit in it, it drains your energy and it’s “lights out” in no time. Hubby has one of those and I call it a “vampire chair”.

It does it here, too, though we don’t usually get as hot as y’all do or for as long. This year we’ve given y’all a pretty good run for the money. No likey at all.

I sure did. And I do wear flannel shirts as light jackets often. I did last night when we went out for a bit and was comfortable while sitting outside.
I’d planned to buy a few new ones this year because those I have are getting worn out after almost 20 years. Now there’s no need to.

Indeed! That place is a hoarder hellhole and most is junk. But there have been a few good things in there. The shirts were a plus for me. Good quality, too, so they should last the next 20 years. LOL

Flannel shirts are long-lasting. I have some flannel pj pants that I have worn for years, and they still look great. Haven’t even faded!

A very pleasant good Thursday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.
How's everyone doing this morning?

They last forever if you don’t have cats with claws. LOL! I have a couple that have been torn a little by cats that got startled while I was holding them. Those are slop-around-the-house shirts now. The others are still in good shape. I was just ready for something new and was lucky to find some freebies. Thank you, hoarder Clara. LOL

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Did you have storms yesterday keeping you and Gizmo from your daily romp?

We did have a few storm alarms last evening but thankfully none for our area. We'll see how today goes.
We did see a couple of deer on the way into the park yesterday. I had to keep Giz on a leash for much of the trip. He did roll around in a couple of dirty spots he found we had a great time.

Glad to hear the rough weather missed you.
Bet Gizmo was dragging you along a bit when he spotted those deer! That would be a sight to see. LOL

Today looks exceptionally gloomy!
But I have painted the mud room, my outside doors, and stained and sealed the front steps so I’m good to go.
