New York (CNN Business)President Donald Trump, facing an ever-deepening scandal that threatens to swallow his presidency, appears to have lost a key ally in conservative media: The Drudge Report.
The narrative-setting news aggregation website, founded in 1995 by Matt Drudge, has spotlighted an overwhelming amount of negative news for the Trump White House in the last several weeks. It's marked a major shift from how the outlet had previously covered the President.
"He's reacting to changing circumstances," a person close to the media mogul, who said Drudge had grown exasperated with Trump, told CNN Business.

No, there was a big change as of late.
He has soured on Trump from day uno. It isn’t factual, it’s slight of hand. It’s like saying Bernie has soured on Trump.
Drudge was ALWAYS against Trump. It’s strange because Trump hasn’t really done anything to the gay community.
The "influential figure in conservative media" part is Fake.
It’s not Drudge’s consolidator any more...he has a minority share, and sold out to Google. This is known. So this is “rubber stamping” of the “changed Drudge support”... that..... ISN’T true. It is Google’s Report, no longer Drudge’s , and he can’t say a thing about it for the sale to remain.

Turns out Drudge sold out to Google very quietly sometime back.
Drudge has sold out. I don’t mean that he sold out conservatives, I mean that he literally sold the website and is no longer involved with it.
