Has anyone in the areas affected by this power shutdown made note of increased generator sales lately?
Several weeks ago, PG&E announced that on occasion of the annual Santa Ana wind phenomena, power would be shut off in selected areas.
If I still lived in Kali-Fornia (I got smart and left in 1994!), I’d have a big ass, whole house diesel generator READY TO GO!

Propane’s probably better because it keeps better in long term storage. I have a whole house propane system.
I’m in CA. Bought our generator three months ago. We were warned of this.
