In 2016 the NBA took a stand against unjust bathroom laws by moving its All Star game from Charlotte.
The NBA really stepped in it this time.
What is this “NBA” to which you refer? :-)
Our professional sports teams are alienating their American fans, from football to NBA. TH PC anti-Americanism is abhorrent.
I watch Golf, 99% of the golfers respect the flag, our service members, Christian values and their fellow Americans.

The NBA. Acting like a typical multi-national.
Reminds me of the cowardly NFL vet Alejandro Villanueva who refused to kneel with his team, and then groveled afterward, and was largely defended here for having been “forced” to do that, or something.
FUNBA FUREDCHINA
What’s the prime diff between professional sports and the mafia?
The mafia has some standards.
F***ing hypocrites
They sell black victimhood and SJW slogans in the USA because its profitable. But they can’t apologize and cower fast enough when they get slapped by China for one comment
I think it was Lenin who said: “The capitalists will sell us the rope we use to hang them.” We’re seeing that play out in real time with China right now, from the NBA to Apple and all the other companies that are selling out America for momentary profits.

People on this forum mocked the Business Roundtable a couple of months ago when they suggested that corporations should consider other things beyond maximizing shareholder value. Well, this is just the NBA looking at the opportunity in the Chinese market and making the decision to maximize owners’ returns. You would think people on this forum would be thrilled.
I heard a clip of Steph Curry on Breitbart this morning. His excuse was that he doesn’t know much about China or their culture or history to give any opinion at this time.
and when the Chinese Communist Party finishes using the NBA and the other Brown Nosers they’ll throw them away like used cooking oil
NFL...NBA...sameo, sameo. I no longer watch ‘em.
The NBA is filled with the most unintelligent people that are wealthy in the United States of America
I’ve been unclear on whether the tweet came from the GM’s personal twitter or if it was a team twitter acct. It looks like a personal tweet, so the NBA should not cave to China. If the tweet had been under a team account, I would look at it the same way I look at the kneeling in the NFL - politics doesn’t belong there. But players, coaches, etc., should be able to tweet their personal views.
I think folks here would cut the NBA more slack except that the NBA is now saying they don’t want to mix business and politics after they mixed business and politics to pursue their woke LGBT and anti-white political agenda.
It is the hypocrisy that is stinking up the room.
China good, straight white male bad.
That is called taking sides.
Let them choke on it.
It stands for No Balls Association. National Bitch Association. Nothing Butt Assholes.
No Brains Allowed.
