The only people being blindsided are Trump and us. McConnell preparing for what? based on what? There are no articles of impeachment; no vote and all is being conducted behind closed doors? McConnell needs to verbalize what it is, a railroad job, instead of lending it credibility by 'announcing' that the GOP needs to be prepared and giving it a timeline.

The repubics have repeatedly shown us they are not supporting Trump. 11 senators just voted to strip him of his authority of emergency declarations thereby stopping funding for the wall. 100 House repubics voted with dems yesterday on a resolution condemning the withdrawl from Syria. Including Scalise.
