Me and hubby too! Long though.

I saw “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” in the theater with my best friend and movie going buddy. It isn’t the type of movie she or I would typically go see and I don’t recall what else was playing but nothing looked remotely interesting save “Yesterday” but I had already seen it a week earlier.

I liked it more, a lot more than I thought I would. The violence didn’t come until the end and in truth, although a complete fantasy, it would have been nice to see those Manson monsters get it like they did in the movie in real life.

The one thing I liked about it was how TV and radio ads from the era were woven in, that and the clothing. But I also thought it was a bit long and dragged in parts. I also thought the scene where Sharon Tate goes to the movie theater, alone, to watch the new movie she was in was too long and a bit unnecessary and it was strange to see the real Sharon Tate on the movie screen as it highlighted how Margot Robbie doesn’t really look like Tate, although she IMO did a good job in the role.

But I did like the little girl actress (sorry “actor”) who was so wise beyond her years. That was a hoot.
