The middle class will want pirated copies. The upper middle class will want good quality copies. And the wealthy will see getting a smuggled production copy, maybe with Chinese subs and even dubs, as a prestige item.
It might come through Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, or who knows. If the money is there, love will find a way.
