Piracy is something the entertainment industry has never understood. In this case, once word gets out then Tarantino’s entire legal/illegal catalog is going to be a hot property in China.

The middle class will want pirated copies. The upper middle class will want good quality copies. And the wealthy will see getting a smuggled production copy, maybe with Chinese subs and even dubs, as a prestige item.

It might come through Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, or who knows. If the money is there, love will find a way.

Just for fun I checked. The cam version, that is someone sneaking a camera into the theater, is online now.
The DVD release is in November so that will be available online about 2 days later.
Or with a VPN they can stream it from Amazon in a few weeks.
