Chick-fil-A opened its first location in the United Kingdom in early October.
A little more than a week later, the British shopping center leasing the location has already said it will not extend the restaurant’s six-month lease, BBC reported Friday.
The Oracle shopping center in Reading faced pressure from a local LGBTQ rights group, Reading Pride, according to the BBC.

It’s their lose. It’s sad but almost every British friend or acquaintance I have is a “committed atheist.” Of course, I only know the London crowd.
They had better sign a lease for a much larger store after this story gets out.

In my lifetime I’ve seen the UK go from a proud lion to a whimpering, mewling pussy.
Proper response would be 100% Tariff on all Limey goods sold or shipped to the US, Just to see how quick those Limeys would discover that shopping center "made a mistake" in failing to renew their lease.
So it's not closing tomorrow. They have six months to deide if this is working, and maybe buy their own building.
I probably won't ever visit the UK again, but it has more to do with the fact that they are so PC that it's painful. And the London acid attacks. There's that, too.
Traditional British Cuisine is inedible. Chick-fil-A couldn't help but to raise the standard.
