It’s France. It could mean anything form actually trying the murderers to trying the staff for some sort of hate crime to trying the dead people for impeding the murderers’ bullets.
I remember a Bogart flick where a publisher (Humphry) was put on trial for inciting a riot, because a fascist mob came in and destroyed his printing press, and killed the typesetter. He was also found guilty of murder, since he provoked the reaction that resulted in the death. Decades later, has life imitated art? Or has A7 just hired another idiot to write headlines?
