I saw a woman named Sara Khan pushing this in the UK. It turns out that many in Islam consider clapping forbidden. Probably another coincidence. Yes, clapping is considered UnIslamic.

This is more depressing when you consider that a disproportionate number of Britains ruling class and most of its Prime Ministers over the past 100 years have been Oxford Graduates. The people going to Oxford are the politicians of the future. God help us all.

Just think of all of the Snowflake cellphones that have been seriously damaged when the phone’s caretaker unit accidentally dropped it while trying to applaud. Something has to be done to stop these unnecessary tragedies.
