President Trump has ratched up his claim that the Obama White House spied on his 2016 campaign, charging in a new book that it was a “treasonous” act by the former Democratic president.
“What they did was treasonous, OK? It was treasonous,” he told author Doug Wead for his upcoming book, "Inside Trump's White House: The Real Story of His Presidency."
“The interesting thing out of all of this is that we caught them spying on the election. They were spying on my campaign. So you know? What is that all about?” said Trump.
“I have never ever said this, but truth is, they got caught spying. They were spying,” said Trump who then added, “Obama.”

It is treason. He was using his power to undermine free and fair elections.

It is not treason to spy on another campaign. It is criminal though, and Nixon resigned to avoid impeachment after he was caught simply covering up the spying on his opposition done by his subordinates.
I would think Admiral Rogers has first hand information.
The evidence made public so far is that FBI and CIA individuals collided with people from several other countries to first attempt to prevent Trump’s election and then, after he won, to overthrow him. If the coup does not remove Trump, the plotters at least managed to dirty up his presidency. So to say they did not commit literal Treason is ludicrous.

The clause about adhering to the country’s enemies applies here. The foreign actors in this saga could hardly be called friends of the then incoming president elected by the People of the United States.
Of course they didn’t stop after the election, but Trump is specifically talking about spying during the campaign, which is before the election, so it can’t possibly be “treason”. It’s a bad choice of words.

All true, now it’s time to indict.
Mr. Trump has a lot more information than we do, probably he knows everything which we, as yet, do not know. So if he calls Obama’s actions treasonous, he does so from a position of power and knowledge.
This most likely is a red line and we saw what happened when president Trump start truth telling about Baltimore. Be safe everyone these people are killers. This is a signal that all the dots are connected the case is rock solid. President Trump is and has been laying the ground work that Obama is a crook. Good times
You mean when Obama spied on Trump, before the election, thus giving aid and comfort to our enemies whose motive was to disrupt our election process?
What you can’t rule out is that now the Swamp May turn violent in their attempt to save themselves and defeat the outside enemy. I have always thought that it would be the cabal that would first resort to violence, and take the civil war hot.
I think that may now be very close.
