FBI ambushed Michael Flynn, then celebrated
Washington Times ^ | October 25, 2019 | Rowan Scarborough

Posted on 10/25/2019 10:54:14 AM PDT by Cboldt

The FBI under James Comey "unilaterally" made the decision to interview retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, excluding input from the Justice Department, ignoring the White House counsel and leading Flynn to believe agents were arriving as friends to discuss terrorism, his lawyer says. ...

"When the Director of the FBI, and a group of his close associates, plot to set up an innocent man and create a crime -- while taking affirmative steps to ensnare him by refusing to follow procedures designed to prevent such inadvertent missteps -- this amounts to conduct so shocking to the conscience and so inimical to our system of justice that it requires the dismissal of the charges for outrageous government conduct," Ms. Powell wrote. ...

Ms. Powell said that the FBI's report on the Flynn interview, called a 302, was changed to make him look guilty. Mr. Flynn had said he was not sure he spoke to Mr. Kislyak about a United Nations vote. The FBI, after news of the conversation leaked to the Washington Post, changed the 302 to "Flynn stated he did not."

Separately, Google is suppressing links to other stories on this subject. Search on "flynn news" dropped hits to THIS article, and to the one in Washington Examiner. The FoxNews piece is the top hit.

The change in search results manifested just in the last five minutes.

McCabe came right out and said. “First we eff Flynn, then we eff Trump”.

Of course he didn‘t say eff.

When we look back, these anti-Trump dirty-doing insiders always seemed overconfident......and sloppy....
...always smirking about one crime or another....never, ever considering-—or even fearing-—retribution.

Clearly, the dirty-doers did not plan on any follow -up nor did they expect Americans to challenge them.

Keep in mind, those were the heady days of “anything goes’...when Saint Obama was untouchable and Hillary was a “shoo-in.”

I can just hear them now: “Don’t worry, Hillary will sweep all of this under the Oval Office rug.”

This, as they chose their bailiwicks and sinecures and signed up for 3-4 eternal Federal pensions.

Powell needs to factor in the duplicitous actions of Susan Rice-——the person Flynn was set to replace.

The execrable Susan Rice’s email sent to herself on Trump’s inauguration day-—just hours before she was scheduled to leave purported to document part of the strange meeting Obama held.

As Obama’s top security aide, Rice was nervous about the fact that, at the president’s direction, she had failed
“to share information fully as it relates to Russia” with President Trump’s incoming national security team........

Susan Rice is far from the brightest bulb on the tree, but she was well aware that by concealing facts relating to US national security, she was, at a minimum, violating longstanding civic norms.

If she actually lied to Flynn, she could have been accused of much worse. So Rice wanted to be able to retrieve her email, if she found herself in a sticky situation, and tell the world that she hid relevant facts about Russia from the new administration on Barack Obama’s orders.

What were the secrets that Obama wanted to keep from the new Trump administration?

We can easily surmise that
<><>the Steele memo was paid for by the Democratic Party;
<><>that the FBI had to some degree collaborated with Steele;
<><>that the Clinton campaign had fed some of the fake news in the dossier to Steele;
<><>that Comey’s FBI had used Steele’s fabrications as the basis for FISA warrants to spy on the Trump campaign.

These were among the facts that Obama and his minions didn’t want Michael Flynn and Donald Trump to know. Susan Rice, we can infer, was told to keep these secrets, and if anyone ever asked why she had failed to disclose them to Michael Flynn and others on Trump’s team, or even lied to those people, she would have the defense that President Obama ordered her to do it.

There may be more to it than this. The redacted paragraph likely contains more information about what it was that Rice wasn’t supposed to tell the Trump team. One of these days, we will learn what was blacked out.

The fact that Michael Flynn was Susan Rice’s counterpart in the incoming administration may also be significant. We know that the FBI agents who interviewed General Flynn–even Peter Strzok!–reported that they didn’t think he had lied about anything.

And yet, Obama’s DOJ and Bob Mueller’s “investigation”–basically a continuation of Obama’s corrupt Department of Justice under another, less accountable name–persecuted Flynn to the point where he finally pled guilty to a single count of lying to the FBI in order, as he says, to end the madness and the financial drain.

Why were the Democrats so determined to discredit General Flynn?

Perhaps because they wanted to pre-empt any outrage that may otherwise have followed on revelations that the Obama administration’s National Security Advisor hid important facts from Gen Flynn, her successor, during the transition, and may have lied to him about those facts......evidence of bigger more dangerous security breeches.

“So glad he finally got himself a good lawyer.”

That makes me wonder if Flynn’s first lawyers were a set up by the deep state. They sure look incompetent compared to Sidney.

The FBI is a criminal organization tgat launched a political operation. This minor bureau clearly thinks it stands above the White House the AG and DOJ.

It has no business existing. The Church commission failed. Now its time for more drastic action to end them as an agency

As a person changing the 302 to make him guilty is criminal slander. As a Government officer there are greater culpability for criminal charges I would think.

When will they be held accountable?

Wouldn’t surprise me, the tentacles run everywhere.
Many of Trump’s appointments that turned out badly were on advice from people he thought he could trust that were actually working against him.

“As a person changing the 302 to make him guilty is criminal slander.”

That’s a mere shell with the lists of criminal actions detailed by Sidney Powell in this case.

Pray for Judge Sullivan. He has everything before him and has options to see justice come to the fore for Gen. Flynn.

When will they be held accountable?

Accountability has long been a foreign concept in DC. At least up to this point in time. Barr will hopefully do something to change that sense of legal immunity.

Can you say “Richard Jewell”?
The FBI clearly tried to frame that guy.

How about Ruby Ridge?
They set him up and then shot his wife and kid.

these people are evil to the core.
