People can rationalize almost anything if they want to. I’m guessing he managed to convince himself he was doing a good thing, even if he was breaking all sorts of laws, because he was “helping people” who wanted to adopt and couldn’t.
I’m curious, assuming you’re correct, what do you think a fair punishment would be for these crimes.
