Why are the sins of their city, the fans and the owners being visited upon these young ball players....so much so that they shouldn't be invited to the White House to celebrate their hard-won victory?

Official team of the Swamp.
Ill take winning on the opponents field only any time!
..
At the end of the season, you’d have 81 wins and 81 losses. Not nearly enough wins.
I didn’t have a dog in this fight because the Nationals knocked out my Cardinals in quick order but I was pulling for the national league team anyway.
Renzon, of the Nationals is now a free agent. The Nationals offered him $215 million for a 7 year contract and he turned them down.
I addressed that to you accidently.
IOW, the "home team" never won a game.
Amazing.
The coolest thing about this series. They set a record that can never be broken! Tied, yes, but not broken.
Now, if Fox would dump the two worst baseball announcers since Chris Berman and Tim McCarver retired, I'd be happy.
I'm a fan. Why don't you like me?
Ditto
Some people are simply idiots. Even on “our side”.
I am a staunch conservative and also a fan of the Nationals. I know tons of people who are fans and conservatives. The liberals/progressives/statists/socialist/dems do not care if they show the world their asses. The Lerners are brain dead liberals and I lost interest at the end of the series when they stated they did not want to sit with President Trump. But the Nationals are a gritty no quit team and they won this victory.
Both teams won their road games - a series first.
Grienke gets 5 more outs, then Cole for the 9th. And its over.
I know. What the hell was Hinch thinking??
I'm especially happy for the MLB veterans like Ryan Zimmerman, Max Scherzer, Howie Kendrick, Stephen Strasburg, Fernando Rodney, Yan Gomes, Kurt Suzuki, Asdrubal Cabrera, Brian Dozier and Adam Eaton.
One question: What's the deal with the Nats and baby sharks?
Congratulations to the Nationals.
Suspicious: It seems like MLB planned in advance for the lowly Nationals to win. Scherzer said he had trouble getting out of bed a few days ago. Suddenly crippled? Hinch did not manage in the best way. On purpose? Seven teams won more games than the Nationals. How did they win the WS? Confusing.
I hear ya. I'm a Boston Red Sox fan, and was at Fenway Park one night in 2004 when John Effin' Kerry was there and announced to the crowd. There actually were a LOT of Sox fans (including hubby and me) booing Kerry, and lots of (mostly polite) cheers as well. I don't know how it played on TV or radio.
Most of the majority Red Sox owners are big libs, but they DID go to the White House earlier this year to celebrate their 2018 World Series win with President Trump. I was surprised at how gracious the lib owners were with Trump. Many of the good guy players went to the White House with their wives and had a great time with President Trump.
The Red Sox who did NOT go to the White House were mostly the black and Hispanic players, and our @sshole SJW manager Alex Cora. They've apparently been brainwashed to believe Trump is a racist. I was particularly disappointed that Mookie Betts and Jackie Bradley Jr. didn't attend the WH celebration.
Most of their World Series attendees are federal bureaucrats, lobbyists and Congressional staffers - overwhelmingly white and liberal. These are the fine folks who booed Trump when he attended a Nats game.
Rendon and Soto were incredible since the very first playoff game. And Hendrick? Everyone thought he was washed up. Hate that the lobbyists who paid $5,000-$10,000 per ticket booed Trump, but this was a team of destiny from the moment they laid 7 runs on the Mets in the bottom of the 9th. They went on a historic tear after that game and never looked back.
Those were not the "Nats fans" who booed Trump. Tickets for those 3 games AVERAGED $1,600 a piece! Field seats were over $10,000. Only lobbyists and their whore political guests could afford those...and those Deep State vermin booed lustily.
