Anyhow, can anyone give me an idea what is the thinking about the fact that Gerrit Cole never pitched???
I've heard the BS explanation that Cole, as a starter, needs a longer time to warm up. That's mostly true for starters.
If the manager was going to yank Zack Greinke after merely giving up a homerun and a walk, why then wasn't Cole slowly and preliminarily getting himself warmed up as the inning began????
If anyone saw this game and knows baseball well ........ what do you think?
