Andy Beshear Democrat 615,653 50.2%
Matt Bevin* Republican 586,845 47.8
John Hicks Libertarian 24,070 2.0 1,226,568 votes, 84% reporting
So they voted for the black Republican Attorney General but not Bevin? Probably best to wait and see.
Thats a good point. Trump won West Virginia in 2016 with a wider margin than any other state ... and yet there are more registered DEMOCRATS there than Republicans.

Yes, it appears as predicted, republicans losing both the house and senate in Va. The dems needed one senate seat and two house seats to flip and it appears, at the moment, they are picking up 4 or 5 house seats. The senate is less clear, but dems are ahead in a number of seats.
No! So far the Democrat has an absolute majority.
That is the way politics work, especially when the President shows up to “help”.
Democrats control the ballot box now. Anyone who thinks that the vote totals reflect the legitimate vote are delusional.
Early voting is one of the greatest tools for vote fraud.
Now they have even changed the poll books to electronic form so they can gigger it up even on election day.
Yup the principled
crypto-liberals split the vote again
Enjoy the conservative (D)generate
Kentucky has an epic pension crisis of biblical proportions and Bevin took a bold move to fix it and apparently the stupid voters here (I am Kentucky resident who voted for Bevin) want to be broke on their rearends. They are going to eat it now.
Lest we forget, the Clintons got into the White House because of Ross Perot splitting the GOP vote.
Your description of Kentuckians makes them sound like liberals rather than conservatives.
Any politician who doesn’t want to spend more on government, their employees, their cronies and their unions is at an immediate disadvantage.
Well, at least we got Constitutional Carry out of his governorship and they are not putting that genie back in the bottle.

Very good analysis. I have an old Army buddy living near Frankfort who told me almost exactly the same thing as you just said.
Thank you.
Virginia has been completely taken over by leftwing baby murdering Democrats. Within one year not one Confederate monument will be left in the state..The bastards have even started unearthing Confederate graves and hanging the corpse. Washington and Lincoln is next.
