It’s over. Some Louisville precincts out and nothing left for Bevin. He had a 30% approval and Trump pulled him to within 3% margin.

I will repeat what I have said on other threads. Kentucky is not a republican state. It is a conservative state. That’s a big difference. In national elections, the people of Kentucky will vote for Republicans. In state elections, the overwhelmingly registered Democrat voters in Kentucky or not afraid of voting for reasonable founding Democrats. The Democrat is the son of a popular former governor. He talks with a southern accent. Meanwhile, the Republican is kind of a dope who is from New England, is not a very good fit for the state, and his managed to piss off So many people with his abrasive style, that his life quite frankly is not unexpected.

How in the hell does a pro baby killing Rat win the Kentucky race when the same people voted for Trump by 30%.i don’t believe it. It think it’s out and out fraud but republicans will sit on their asses and not say the obvious.

I think there’s a whole other angle to this story. For one thing, I don’t believe Bevin would be ahead even if you gave him every vote that was cast for the Libertarian candidate.

Secondly, it looks like the Republicans are winning all the other statewide races.

Maybe this IS just a case of a terrible candidate losing. We saw it with Roy Moore in 2017, didn’t we?

I voted for Bevin however I totally predicted this would happen. it’s not Matt’s fault It’s the stupid moron voters in the state who apparently don’t mind that the state’s practically insolvent with pension crisis. They want to be broke while they’re going to get it now. Congratulations, idiots.
