Our closest town is small, only 800 people or so. No big dealerships, businesses, stores or anything there. It does have a McDonald's at the Love's truck stop on the highway going out of town though. That's about as big as it gets in this area.

Suits me just fine. Keeps the riff riff out.

well the company was out 3 miles from town, we lived near the company....it was started over 100 yrs. as a Poultry Farm generations back. Grew til it was INC etc. Town was like most smaller towns but bigger than the drive by and blink and you’ll miss it types. Town cops and all you’d expect, schools hospital.etc. In fact the oil people loved it so much several resettled there....perfect for raising a family....but not so big you don’t know where your kids are or who they’re hanging with..
