Sessions is going to handily take this seat, and all drama that was possible down there, like last time, that let Jones sneak in is effectively done.
As I said if you think Sessions won’t take this seat handily you have never set foot in Alabama.
The facts speak for themselves:
1)POTUS released a Fire Sessions trial balloon. Jeff’s buddies the in GOP Senate threatened POUTUS not do that.
2)POTUS fired him the day after the midterms
3)POTUS said Sessions was his worst mistake.
Sessions took the partisan “advice” of the Democrats in the DOJ ethics office and recused himself. When Sessions had a real chance to substantively advance the MAGA agenda as AG he went AWOL and allowed Mueller’s police state campaign of terror against POTUS and his supporters.
We need lions and Jeff Sessions is a lamb.
I spend time every year in Mobile. I have no doubt Sessions will win given the apparent support he has among sunshine pumping low info conservative voters. I also have no doubt he plays for Team McConnell and not Team MAGA.

He helped squash amnesty back before Trump was even around, when Cantor, Ryan, Rubio et al were all pushing it. He helped to get Cantor out of Office. He worked with Bannon to help get Trump in the White House and was the first major politician to endorse Trump.

Sessions was a great Senator and far more reliably conservative than 95% of those in the White House... he was one of the Few who didn’t embrace the Ryan/Cantor/Rubio/Cruz amnesty crap in the Obama years, and actively worked with Bannon to kill it, and get Cantor voted out over it.
Sessions may not have been the greatest AG, but he hardly is some enemy of Trump.
You really, really, really need to get a bit more informed.
Folks here trying to equate Sessions with Collins or Romney et al is just wholesale stupid.
Sessions will win this seat handily, all the drama and lunacy that went on down there that let Jones get in will be gone, and if you think Sessions is a net negative to Trump, then you are just wholesale ignorant.
