But going on combat patrols to eventually be ambushed by real, well trained enemy infantry groups is another matter. The point is that the IDF does not exclude females from combat. Period.

You DO understand that I oppose women in combat roles and even more so the lowering of standards to make it happen, right? And that my only other point is that one cannot use the IDF as an example of a military any different that ours when it comes to gender integration, unless it’s an example that’s further down the road.
